What does the order status 'shipment started' mean?

1) If the Trade Assurance is exported via OneTouch:

Order status 'shipment started' means the seller has already started shipment but not passed customs yet. Once passed customs, order status will change to 'shipped already' and waits for buyer to confirm receipt.

2) If the Trade Assurance is not exported via OneTouch:

Order status 'shipment started' means the seller has already started shipment  but the system has not obtained the logistics information yet, and usually after 1-2 days (48h the longest) order status will change to  'shipped already' and waits for buyer to confirm receipt.
