Summary of payment issues for Trade Assurance order

Payment methods for Trade Assurance order include T/T, Credit Card, e-Checking, Boleto, etc., and the first three payment methods are relatively widely used.

Why is the payment link invalid?

The payment link is valid within 72 hours. If it expired, supplier can send it again.

Has the payment arrived?/Should the order be shipped?

Link order to payment' button appears on the order detail page after the payment via T/T arrives. Supplier has to link the order to the payment manually and then order status will change to 'waiting to ship' after linking.

How to receive the full payment of Trade Assurance order?

That Initial payment/balance arrives less than the order amount only occurs for T/T payment method. If the order status is 'Insufficient initial/balance payment', the supplier should determine whether he wants to receive the difference. If yes, the supplier could modify the order amount to the amount already received, and the buyer confirms modification,  then the order status will update to 'fully received'. Please check whether there is order modification button on the order page first.    

Will the unpaid order be closed automatically? 

 Unpaid order remains valid unless buyer or supplier closes it manually.

Should the payment method for initial payment and balance be the same?

The payment for initial payment is independent from that of balance, and you can choose payment method separately. E.g., initial payment can use T/T payment method, and balance can use T/T, Credit Card or E-checking.

Can the order be paid combined/separately? 

That paying combined or separately only occurs for T/T payment method. Combined payment: initial payment and balance can be paid combined for the same order or different orders. Separate payment: order's initial payment and balance can be paid separately in multiple times. Notice: Processing fee for T/T payment is USD 20-80 each time. Please consult with the wiring bank for details.

Risk control result comes out about half an hour after payment. If passed, order status changed to 'waiting to ship' automatically. Please refer to the order page—payment record for the specific time of passing risk control. Order can be shipped after risk control pass.

How to receive the full payment of Trade Assurance order?

That Initial payment/balance arrives less than the order amount only occurs for T/T payment method. For Credit Card payment method,  buyer is not allowed to choose payment amount and can only pay the order amount by default for initial payment or balance, so the case it arrives less than order amount will not happen.
