How do I modify my Trade Assurance order?

Your Trade Assurance order status decides how you can modify your order. Please refer to the following to learn how you can modify your Trade Assurance order:

1. For Trade Assurance orders placed via "Buy now", please refer to the following table:

Not able to modify. After the payment is received, the buyer can apply for a refund and order again

Waiting for supplier to ship

Not able to modify

Able to extend the shipping time. The extended shipping time plus the original shipping time cannot exceed 90 days

Waiting for buyer delivery confirmation

Both able to extend the receiving time only once for 15 days. In total, the receiving time of one order can be extended for a maximum 30 days

Initial payment not received

Waiting for the supplier to draft a TA order (after buyer sends order request)

·         Suppliers can make modifications directly with or without the buyer’s request

·         Buyers cannot modify the new order

Suppliers can modify everything except the supplier's information and the buyer's email address

Waiting for the buyer to make the payment

·         Buyers can make a "Request for modification" to ask the supplier to make the modification

Initial payment received

Waiting for the buyer to pay the remainder of the initial payment 

·         Buyers can make a "Request for modification" to ask the supplier to make the modification

 

·         Suppliers can make the modification directly with or without the buyer's request. The modification will be effective only after the buyer's confirmation. Buyers can confirm the modified order without logging in

 

 

 

 

·         Suppliers can modify everything except the supplier's information, the buyer's email address, name, company name, and export service

·         The modified initial payment amount cannot be lower than the received initial payment amount. It can only be modified before initial payment is fully received or confirmed as fully received by the supplier or system

Waiting for the supplier to ship the goods

·         The supplier can modify everything except the buyer's and supplier's information, export service and initial payment

·         The modified balance amount cannot be lower than the received balance amount. It can only be modified before the balance is fully received or confirmed as fully received by the supplier or system

·         Trade Assurance terms can only be modified before the balance is paid

·         If the payment is processing, the supplier cannot modify the order

 

 

Waiting for the supplier to ship the remainder of the goods (supplier has shipped some of the goods already)

Waiting for the buyer to pay the balance of the payment, the supplier has shipped the goods fully

Waiting for the supplier to confirm the balance payment (insufficient balance payment)

Waiting for the buyer to confirm goods receipt

Order completed or closed

Transaction completed
